Orla Mining Reaches Major Milestone for the Orla South Railroad Project

Orla Mining is excited to announce a major milestone in the Orla South Railroad Project — the Notice of Intent (NOI) has officially been published in the Federal Register! This marks the beginning of the NEPA process, moving us one step closer to securing a Record of Decision and starting construction on a new surface gold mine in Elko County.

How You Can Support the Project

Orla Mining is seeking community support to ensure a successful public comment process. Positive, individualized comments are especially impactful — sharing how this project will benefit you, your business, and the community makes a difference.

Public Scoping Meetings

Orla Mining also invites you to attend one of the open-house style Public Scoping Meetings on September 3rd at the California Trail Interpretive Center. Two sessions will be held:

• 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

• 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
